Awesome shot. I love the colors and the dof. Maybe a little more space to the right where he is looking might have been interesting but nevertheless a wonderful shot.

This image is excellent. Wonderful depth of field, good contrast of the blue uniform against the lighter ones in the background. Very sharp and chrisp.

I like the centered composition with him standing away from the troops and in the spotlight. But then again I imagine how it would look if he was more to the left of the frame with his profile contrasted against the troops. The picture has the correct exposue and perfect dof.
I find myself looking at the garbage on the ground and the one guy's belly sticking out of his jacket and the manicured lawn. These things tend to take away from the fantasy of the picture. I know they could not be controled by the photographer.

I like the way you have detached the foreground from the background by good use of DOF..it really focusses attention on the subject.

Works fairly well for the challenge. The photo itself has good atmospheric colour, the only downside is the middle chap at the back coughing or scratching his nose or similar, which is a bit distracting.
