The Ha'Penny Bridge, Dublin.

Shot in RAW, converted to JPG.
Cloned out a small distracting flare from lamp under bridge.
Sepia colour, dodge and burn, curves, hue/sat, resize, usm, save for web.

I am very proud of this pic and hope some of you like it too. I can honestly say I don't mind how it does in the challenge. This is my first free study and I imagine competition will be very tough anyway.

We Were in Dublin this past spring and we walked across that bridge. You did a fabulous job on this photo. I understand why you are proud of it. Unfortunatley, I couldn't use any of my pictures in challenges because of the time frame. A couple of them are in my portfolio though.

This is very nice. It's definitely one of the better works in this challenge. It could easily have score much higher than the very respectable placing that it did receive. Good work Amy!

Love the post processing on this one... wish it would have done better. definitely deserved it. I'd love to see the original just to see a little of what you did.

Great perspective and I like the dark grungy feel to this. The two birds flying overhead is a nice touch. Bumping up!

Terrific leading lines, possibly just needs something bright over to the right of the bridge for the eye to fall onto.

Oooh - I love the sepia tones and the use of light and dark in this one. The textures of the buildings almost have a silky looking quality to them. Would really like to hear what you did in post processing. I love this image - stunning. 10.

I like that industrial dark effect, I would go bit less for sky I think.

I think a tighter crop at the top or the bottom would improve this.

the birds at the top don't add anything for me, even a bit of a distraction, just a bit though. the image is great, like the sepia tones-9-

Very stylistic. I like the old town atmosphere it gives off.

In Dublin? I think you could almost have cropped right at the bottom of the bridge, cos the water is so dark I can't see anything there. If it is the Liffey, maybe I don't want to see the water :) nice shot

Stunning Photo, Im normally not a fan of this type of heavily proccessed shot, but it works so well for this scene. Great Entry.. (10)
