an effective image and well captured - good choice of movie, too. highly recognizable. i think it might have been better to take the volleyball out of the box, though...

Great setup and execution. The exposure looks off a bit though, too much highlights and shadows, not enough midtones. I imagine it was a tough shot to get right technically, perhaps some practice with Photoshop would get you there. Above average, but the technicals keep it from being a 10.

I can clearly see this scene from the movie and your creation very close to the original. One of the difficulties is that because the scene is so well known, the differences stand out. The cloth on the hand, the amount of blood on the painting, the body hair on the model all pull away that feeling. Even so, this is an outstanding image in its own right and certainly deserves a ribbon. 8

This is perfect for the challenge! The positioning of elements in this image is well done and it's well focused. Only minor complaint is the center part of your image could use a little more light - note I said "minor complaint". ;^) Good luck in the challenge.

Cute, very cute, but I'd have taken the ball out the box. By the way, you can buy those balls now with the handprint on them, I bought one for my nephew a couple of years ago.
