Although this scene works well with the movie you have chosen, it would have worked much better if the exposure was right. |

how the heck do you stage a shot like that? |

Why the overexposure and glare? |

May have added a bit if the image was done in black and white like the movie. The hot spot at top center is a bit distracting and takes away some of the attention that should be on the soldier. Overall though nice photo! |

Some more contrast might help |

Photo is too washed out and seemed to have some lens glare.. Might want to work on that.. :) |

I think I would have liked this shot a lot if it weren̢۪t for all the lens flare. In some ways the lens flare is interesting and adds to the drama but I think it is just too much. When shooting towards the sun you could try shielding some of the glair on the lens with your hand. |

too much glare, looks like you were shooting straight into the sun ... |

I'm sure you probably meant to do this, but the lack of contrast isn't working for me. Just my opinion |

Is that supposed to be John Lennon? A decent job...I hope the voters know the film. |

To me, this seems like you were shooting into the sun. It's just too bright for my taste. |

well done, maybe alittle less smoke would have been better, but I am unfamiliar with this scene but it might allow the viewer to get drawn in more. |

I've not seen the film, but, going on the title, this is a good representation of a war-like image, so it meets the challenge.
However, the photo itself is very washed out. I think I would prefer the slightly darker and fuller colours that you'd get by evening out the levels. You have got an unfortunate distracting flare at the top, too. Whether that is copying the film I don't know, so I have to mark it down a bit. |
