You could have really gone for it and left out the fork...

Great focus and DOF, but why the square crop instead of allowing the tines of the fork to go from corner to corner in a portrait orientation?

Very nice macro, the tiny detail on the tines is amazingly sharp. Strong, interesting and well balanced composition. Might possibly be a bit borderline for the challenge DNMC police, hopefully your not taking any hits for that.
