 I think that this has lost a fair bit in the resize, unfortunately, but I'm going to enter it anyway. It was a toss-up between this and another photo, the other one losing out because I felt it had more of a subject.

Steps to edit - Auto levels, auto contrast, enchance shadows / lighting & contrast, resized 50% bicubic sharper, resized to 640 bicubic sharper, images cropped for saving, USM 35, 2,4.

a couple of crits:
1) blurry leaves in foreground: either move to different angle to remove them or shoot with dif DOF;
2) white wash overexposure across photo takes away from natural colors;
3) composition with tree in upper foreground distracts from interesting castle in background
Otherwise, a lovely scene for this challenge
