I like the exagerated colors... I know how old scanned images can leave a LOT of noise in the image.... So get NeatImage for these. Or use the magic wand to select the sky, then use Gausian Blur on it. What I do is remove as much noise with the clone stamp tool first, then the above. |

I'm seeing what I believe to be a cyan tint to this image. If you look at the clouds they are not white, but cyan. The image is pretty, has good fg and bg images, and the water looks beautiful. I would try to tweak the colors, maybe using this tutorial to correct the cast. Nice job. |

This has potential but the trees are a little out of focus and in parts over-exposed. Also, the ocean does seem a little unreal - though I have occasionally seen it take similar colours, so it may just be a particularly beautiful day in a particularly beautiful spot. |

Something in the colors gives a bit of unreal feeling. The blue is too cyan. There's something funny about the sparks on the water... I can't really explain this, but I don't get the dynamic feeling the sea usually gives. Something is too fixed in this picture.
Personally I don't find the log distructing. I like its shape despite the soft focus. There's definately a 70's smell to this picture :-)

i agree with scott, the knotted wood detracts a bit from the whole of the pic. as far as any imperfections from the neg, i can't spot any, so nice job :-) |

Your sharp focus on the background really makes the foreground a distraction otherwise this would be a great shot |
