This is an amazing silhouette. Glad to see someone with the same camera as me snagging some ribbons. :)
The warm tones in the background are lovely and really help the soft silhouettes sink into a great context. The position of the sun could not have been better, either. |

| its all about the angle of the hoop here. sillhouette, yeah yeah. sunset, yeah yeah. but that hoop and the curve in conjunction with everything else is just tops. It feels like the hoop is life-like bending down and over towards its pursuers. |

| This is an incredible silhouette and I really like the gradient effect in the sky as the sun goes down. The detail and action of the two players is great as is the unusual shape of the basketball net (at least I've never seen one like that). Bumping up! |

| Personally, I would have liked the photo better without the players and maybe a different object besides a basket ball stand. The colors are really, really nice. I'm you're photo will score well with others. Not that I don't like it, it's a great capture and perfect timing. |

I've seen this setup before a (couple of) year(s) ago. Great capture with that wonderful background gradation and freeze of the jump.
It looks slightly oversharpened but everything else is cool. |

| Beautiful and stunning capture! Love how it all comes down to the shapes of the silhouettes that compliment all the elements and the lovely warm tones of golds, reds, and oranges. Love the action of the two men shooting hoops. I see so many curves in this composition the curve of the basketball hoop, the curve of the ball, and even the curve of the setting sun. The composition is wonderfully composed with the action of the two men jumping to get the ball and the sun (another sphere) resting right between them. Simple, beautifull and elegent in it's presentation I think this will easily be in the top 20 if not the top 5. Good work. |
