Under a pier in Nags Head, just after sunrise. Adjusted color blanace and thats about it. Having fun with my new lens Tokina 12-24. It's broke since it won't stop down beyond f4, I need to take it back but even at f4 its a pretty good lens. Just dying to find its sweet spot after exchange.

Wow thats whats great about this form you really find out what you need to work on. Obviously my horizon is tilted not just in this shot but another I submitted. The shot is underexposed a bit I liked the mood it created, but may have affected the quality. The comments were great and I appreciate them all.

The horizon needs to be levelled in this shot. Otherwise it is pretty nice.

I like the colors. There's something off about the composition, though. I think its that the subject appears to be the waves, and the silhouette is distracting from the waves. I keep trying to look through them, rather than at them. Maybe backing up a bit to get more of the boardwalk itself in the frame and reduce the impact of the seascape would help this.
