 Didn't think I was going to find anything by the challenge deadline, but then I remembered a few shots I had taken the previous week of the kids playing at the park. Checked them out and found a couple that I might be able to fiddle with in Photoshop in order to give them a soft focus treatment with the Guassian Blur suggestion from Kirbic. This is what I managed to come up with. I'm still interested in working with soft focus from the camera, so that'll be something to try as a future project for me.

I hope this agrees with the voters...shots of kids usually do, so I'm crossing my fingers :)

Be careful on your point of focus. It looks like the point of focus is her feet and not her face, as this should be the clearest part of the photo.

Nice composition and I like the softness around the childs face, I do find the B/G a little too bright which is slightly off putting (MHO)
