 shot in reykjavik, while i was bored sitting on a bench.
just noticed this on the computer.
it turned out really cool after the processing. i like this picture and hope that it is not too much out of the box

Interesting surreal shot. Too bad about the DQ -- I hope you made it into the current challenge. (Funny, by the way, that this features both soft focus and a bicycle -- the two basic challenges as of this writing).

I don't know if I would characterize this as soft focus, but the abstract pattern you've captured has a dynamic tension I really like. There's a feeling of a lot of movement. The dark tones give it an air of mystery. Among my top picks.

There is no soft focus here. Soft focus has a misty character with the edges softened and bright areas turned like fog. It results of light difusion before the lens. Sorry but abstract focus is not like soft focus!
