This is my first submission here. I just set some things up in the kitchen and started shooting away. Normally I like to take nature/wildlife and landscapes but I thought I would give this a shot.

'Soft Focus' was a struggle for a lot of us I think - myself included. It was a learning experience for sure. Welcome to the insanity!

nice composition! the distortion of the glass creates new shapes. the tight crop transforms this shot into a powerful abstract. 8

Nice composition - the white glare on the glas is a bit distracting, IMO.

Certainly tells a story as the challenge description asked, I like the softness to the glass but feel the olives look just a little too much OOF (MHO)
