Lovely scene. I have spent many a day in my life walking along such beaches pondering. It's a good place to get away and breath fresh air. 8.

very, very pretty but doesn't hold my attention. It makes no demands of me. Did make me stop and comment though - extra point for that. Yes, often pictures can just be. 7

nice landscape, but I think it works better as a B/W - there isn't any colour of interest in this version and I think you may as well go all the way and get rid of the colour all thogether

Classic and well placed horizon. The clouds and their reflection in the foreground add viewer interest to this image. Captures a stark coastal landscape very well. At first one wants to see something on the left side of the frame to balance the mountain and clouds prominent on the right side, but after looking more closely the imbalance seems apropriate to the scene.
Though lost in the desert far from an ocean this stark image matches my own feelings after looking at a vast expanse of non-descript desert hills stretching in all directions arpund that were my constant companions while lost. - Steve
