 Spent the day on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky. I tried to take some pictures of rope in between all the scenery and action.
I wish the day had been sunnier (for more reasons than just the picture) but it wasnt.
Adjust levels and color balance, rotated, cropped and resized.

Tubes are distracting due to their dark colours and lack of focus, DOF too shallow for me

Not so good. Tough to tell what this is. Took me a while to realize its a guy on an tube wiping out behind a boat.

Bold attempt... I love the composition..
Wonder if there's anyway to improve the DOF?
oh well.. but the overall feel looks good..

Needs a bit more aperture (DOP) for me, took me a while to work out what it was and I used to go in those doughnut rings all the time!

Most of the photo is out of focus. A different angle might have given you more focused rope.
