I like the light on the models face, its a shame about the line of shadow but other than that its a nice image :o) |

The subject might look more depressed if his gaze was downward a bit. Nice use of shadows around the face. |

There is no soft focus here. Soft focus has a misty character with the edges softened and bright areas turned like fog. It results of light difusion before the lens. This picture is only using a shallow DOF. |

well, this nice... everything is nice but....
what if, i mean, i was thinking of recomposition. that will do better. i guess. |

I like a lot the picture but I'm not sure this is a soft focus ... I don't rate for the moment. |

This is very good. However, the distracting blown highlight on his nose pulls the eye away from an otherwise excellent portrait. Good luck anyway. |
