Critique Club Review:
Works as kind of a "Where's Waldo" picture. The biker is not seen at first and the eye is drawn away. The only real thing that I see is that the sky is a bit bland and featureless. Shooting into the sun gave you a great starburst, but the sky came out pale. My personal instinct is that the rider is where the eye should be drawn. Not sure what the three spikes are that threaten the rider. Cloning them out might have helped a bit. |

The backlighting and light reflection off the road contrasting with the sihlouette of the trees makes this image good. The picture has a bit of softness to the overall image that gives it a slightly surrealist feel. It is clean image with no distracting elements. Showing the photographer going over the hill makes this image fit the challenge topic well. Great job.
I went over planty of hills in my journey but always knew I'd come back. - Steve |

Beautiful! I love the light on the road and the deep focus. The road and center line are my favorite part of this image, but the sun is also quite well done. Cool that you got the "Steve" biker in there, too! |

This is a very well put together image. Interesting to look at with a nice composition and great use of light - PLUS it fits the challenge theme without getting carried away in pp. Nicely done! |
