King Vulture. As soon as I saw this bird I knew it was my free study submission. He is so cool! This was after he ripped the guts out of one rat (which I have pictures of) and before he ripped the guts out of a second (more pics :)). This is their natural color though I have no clue why. I also have a couple of great pics of him cleaning his beak. Post in outtakes.

I need to come to your zoo. Another great shot. Your work is inspirational when I am wandering around our zoo. I have been trying to catch a shot of our gorillas that could come even close to emulating your work. Very nice.

Great Vivid colors and sharpness but maybe too much NI on the body, I'm missing the feather detail?

Ugly bugger! Great close up though and the colours are remarkable.

What an unusual color scheme this bird has, and love the piercing eye.
There is a tremendous amount of detail/texture missing in this image, in particular the feathers. Paossibly too much noise reduction/neat image?
I would have rather seen a lot of noise, than no details.

That is the most beautiful buzzard I ever saw. Gorgeous job on the processing. I don't even care if you whitened his eyes, it works.
