Landscapes do not seem to soft focus very well. Nice photo. Next time raise or lower your horizon line so it does not fall right in the middle of your photo.

Excellent entry - meets the challenge to a tee. The rule of thirds is seen in the great use of color - top to bottom. I predict a top 5 finish.

wow this is lovely, beautiful colours and I think the calmness of the water really adds a soft feel to the overall photo

The focus looks crisp enough to me. But the sky is soft and the water too. The overall effect is soft but the effect is not achieved by lens control (difficult with a point and shoot camera, I suppose).
