This is a really cool idea, but it looks like the red channel is blown out a bit; the detail is washed out in the brightest parts of the rope.

Very nice ... this photo surely stands out from the rest for it's creativity. Better lighting would have made this photo look better tough and I would have added a dark frame to it (perhaps red).
