| Good subject. The lighting in this shot is a slight problem. I like the highlights that show in the liquid as it falls into the glass, the lime slice on the glass and the lime. The strong shadow that falls from the glass across the lime on the left of the picture detracts from the overall quality. The pleasant background is offset by the active pattern in the placemat below the subjects. The placemat also appears to have some crumb on it just behind and to the right of the glass. I think you have a good composition here but replace the placemat with a solid cloth and give a little more fill light to the lefthand side of the composition so that the lime isn't lost in the glass' shadow. |

| Makes me thirsty! Yum! Nice colors. You could try to lighten up the background and diffusing the light for a "fresher' look perhaps. Well done. |

| This needs to be brighter. I think a different color placemat, green or yellow, would have helped to highlight the limes. The blue just does not compliment the subject. I guess the lighting needs to be improved. The left side is in shadow, whereas the upper right corner is overlit. Hey, I'm just an amateur, so I don't know really! I am just guessing. |
