 This is a very last minute attempt so sue me not.

I dub this the pic that people will see and go "how stupid was this person to enter it". No one can DNMC

Serious stuff :: I am talking about the game where you constantly slam a knife in the spaces between your fingers. As I don't own a camera or a model or even proper lighting I really couldn't do the motion version so I precariously placed the damned knife between my fingers.

I thought my voters wouldn't kill me for not trying the craping motion trails thing ever though I know they will kill me for the wonky editing. (Chants to self.. They will hate the grain, they will hate the grain.)

The picture quality sucked since I was taking pic with one hand and balancing a knife on the other so please forgive me. At least I didn't invert the pic. That was such a sight!

My camera totally wanted to join the other challenge but I wouldn't let him.

I nearly killed my gran through. She was upset that I was using her best knife (and covered it up with ketchup to boot. Not that you can really see it. I was aiming for the blood effect). Really nobody cares about my safety..

Not a great shot.. I predict mid 4 because of the GRAIN and processed look but oh well...I wish this had been advanced. I could have made the knife prominent and gotten rid of the imperfection at the edge of the background..and done up my nails..0_o Sucky priorities.

I totally forgot to mention that this pic was taken on a chart paper so the knife is really being held up by the surface and not my fingers.

Back to comment. For an image that was set up, the execution of the concept is not as well executed as I would have liked to see. First, the background makes it look like this was taken on a metal countertop. This in turn leads me to think that the fingers are holding the cleaver up. Second, the image has a lot of noise. This contributes to a flat overall appearance. Third, the bright object in the upper right corner is a distraction.

Good idea but I found the hole at the end of the cleaver distracting.
