Different idea and meets the challenge. However the lighting is so harsh and contrasty that it is uncomfortable to look at long.

Great idea and great use of shallow DOF, negative space and lighting. Only let down in terms of believability is teh difference in colour (perhaps it's just light) of the foreground pea compared to the other two.
