No fire, just smoke. I know, I know. Where there's smoke, there's fire. But, call me a fundamentalist, I expect to see flames in this challenge. Other than that, the pic is really nice, with the tree providing a natural framing that could almost stand on its own without any other subject.
Note: didn't vote you down for DNMC... I guess it half meets the challenge, so... |

| the suggestion of fire is there, but some smoke in the distance just doesn't go far enough to meeting the challenge description. The lens flare above the tree takes center stage. The smoke is an afterthought. |

| heh, I saw a fire under similar circumstances, but I didn't have a cool tree t frame it with. Any chance this was taken around Reno? |
