Awesome shot! I love the colors and the overall shape of the flame. I think your title is appropriate as there is so much motion and life in this photo. The white is a bit distracting for me, but not too bad.

You needed a faster shutter speed I think, the smoke is kinda blurry.

Beautiful fire here. Love the contrasts in color and the lighting looks good. The focus seems to be off in some areas, to be expected when dealing with fire as a subject I think. Nice composition but I'm not sure I like the white border, even though its rather thin it still seems to draw attention to itself rather than just frame the image. I gave a 6

those white lines in the yellow part of the flame make this look maybe over sharpened and soem of the whites may be too white. hope that helps.

There are just too many matches in this challenge. I think the successful match shot will be one that does something slightly more creative than merely lighting it.
