 This was the first shot after final "build". Did a few test shots to build lighting ect and to try and perfect timing of wire shorting and flash fire
The set up..
Fake wall with standard power point screwed on. Halogen spotlight behind the power point to provide flash inside power point and a hand held sunpac flash fired fully into light box box setup. 24 volt power source with positive taped to knife at back of blade and the neg wire poking out of power point. 5 sec exposure during which i shorted wires in ambiant light to produce the spark and then hand fired bounce flash into light box to light the rest of the subject. Hope it scored well.. if not, it was still fun trying to set it all up...

Although the idea is repeated by other people in the challenge, this is by far the best execution of it - I love the way the socket is lit up - very otherworldly.

This isn't the best picture in the world, but it's very stupid and meets the challenge better than any other one I've seen... [a virtual ribbon isn't worth dying over, though, you know that, right?] ;) 10 for stupidity. I hope you're not offended.
