I like this a lot, I think it's very cool... I know that this is how the guy is always so it doesn't really show action, but the way you shot it really works... :-) I think it is much more effective then had you shot it straight on... it almost seems like we're thinking what to do... I can't give it top marks because truthfully it's not completely your shot, it's someone elses art work, but I still think its a cool photo -8-

Fisher thinking, "Take that, Spassky!" Nice composition.

This is an interesting photo. The camera seemed to focus on the hair instead of the checkerboard which is a little distracting. Good use of filling the frame.

Excellent shot. The composition is great and I love the colour of the statue.

The creator of this sculpture is entirely responsible for the excellent use of static objects to convey both the action of chess and the mental activity involved. Photographically, you have captured a less common perspective and it is this that redeems the work as partly your own.

Very cool photo...how'd you do this?

Beautiful shot. I love the subject and tone of it... But, Chess isn't really a sport so IMO it doesn't fit the challenge. :( But you get a higher score because I like the shot. :)

This image is a great find. The vantage point is great. However I never thought of chess as a sport. It has always been a game in my mind.
