| The unlit match looks a bit out of place to me, but other than that I really like the shot. I especially like how the matches are in different stages of being burnt - visually is very engaging to me. That's why the unlit match is there, thematically, I'm supposing, but it does not work visually for me. |

| In a fire challenge, to stand out, a match photo needs to be really special and do something truly creative - more than just lighting them. The execution here is okay, though a bit unbalanced with it being off center, and I don't think this goes far enough into that creative territory. |

| I think I'd prefer this with a faster shutter speed so the flames werent so soft. but I liek the rest of this alot. |

It is hare when there are other shots like your in the challenge. When I see this I vote based on the technicals not the idea. The composition is OK it is a little heavy on the right side but that has to do with the flames but something to think about. A little more contrast in post might have just pushed the detail up a touch and a little more USM. 7
