tourist,
it actually wasn't posed. i had been shooting pics of this kid and the other surfers over a few hours. i figurd this one would be a little different than most of the action shots that i figured most would submit.

| I see what you were going for here though... but I really am trying to go a little bit with the "action" part of the directions. He's scrubbing the board right... while this is a part of the sport, it's not the sport itself, the sport isn't in cleaning the board, it's in riding it, thats just my interpretation anyway. Is he really sunburnt, or is there too much red in the shot hehehe... hard to know. I wish we could see his face, and maybe his concentration on the task at hand. |

| Nice colours and composition, but a bit too posed to be right for the assignment, in my opinion--which is, of course, just that. |
