This was one of my favorites in the challenge...sorry it didn't place higher; it is rather unusual which in my opinion is good; the tone and metal patina give it depth and simple beauty...well done.

The processing adds a nice old time feeling but the closeup doesn't really bring transportation to my mind. For the photo its self and the processing I give this one a 9

this is a great, gorgeous picture, which has really been enhanced by your post processing treatment. just eye candy really. the grain is really effective and the detail on the chrome bit is lovely. i can't offer any real criticism because it's really great. though, oddly, i think this might have been enhanced a bit with a border. anyway, really nice - 9

Its nice artistic b&w image but missing some points. Its bit overexposed so bottom part is too bright and loosing detail. There is bit too much empty space above...would prefere more panoramic crop.

Simple. Bold. Strong. I love the lighting, the B&W, the implied texture. I think it looks great centered, the silver tone is fantastic. I'd actually shave off about half an inche to an inch off the top, but that's just playing around with it - it looks great as is. I love the shadow and light play. Very nicely captured. I gave am bumping from a 7 to an 8.
