a combination of LucisArt filters, exposure, curves, shadows & highlights and a good dose of inspiration that came from studying George Fulton's photographs ...

The post-processing has taken this out of the realm of photography in my opinion. Have you tried this in a high-contrast black & white? |
i respectfully disagree. every photograph essentially is an approximation. what your eyes see and what your sensor captures can almost never be the same.

thank you. i would however consider this to still be a photograph. what i have done here is not fundamentally different than when a skilled photographer uses a softbox to accentuate the facial features of a subject while shooting a portrait. i find it incredibly liberating and thankful for to have and use the tools that i have in my disposal to bring out what i consider to be the true essence of a particular subject. as you have astutely noted, i believe this photo captures the essence of a harley as expressed by yours truly. thanks again. |

I like the effect you achieved with this photo. Not your run of the mill DPC shot. Good luck. |

Is it possible to overdue or over-process a Harley? I don't think so! 7 |

Interesting processing. Not bad 6 |

This is very well done, but I fear it may be a bit too much "digital art" for DPC voters. All in all, though it's a nice photograph from which to start and a nice job of processing along the artistic lines. I really like the reflection of the building that shows up in places. |

Gotta love the V-rod! Nice effect and control of the reflection. |

I think this bike needs just a tad bit more chrome. |

Have to vote a flat 5 for this as I don't particularly like the processing treatment you have given it. I guess you have restricted your positive voters by going down this route as its not 'typical' DPC ribbon treatment so I applaud you for trying something different. |

The overall effect is rather nice. The gradient enhances the many reflections. |

That's some neat looking chrome. Good angle. |

For me, this image has gone too far into the realm of digital art. I happen to prefer my images to look more like the subjects do in real life. I realize it's only my opinion... but that's the only way I can vote. :-) |
