A totally excellent "grab-the-moment" shot. I can't say anything bad about it. Even the green trim complements the cold grey water heaps better than brighter colours would. Perfectly positioned in the frame, and even a clear face to peek at! |

Hey, I only missed by one continent and one ocean!
From this distance the bridge looks a lot like the bridge over the Columbia at Astoria, Oregon. |

because so many of the tones are similar, I am curious to see what this might look like in black and white. I think it could have a lot of impact. Great composition anyway. |

The greyness of this shot actually works to its benefit I think, nice motion 7 |

nice shot did you try using the 'cloudy' white balance setting? might have brightened it up a bit!

Beautiful action shot. Nice clear focus really brings your eyes to the windsurfer. Good focusing really makes him pop out of the shot. Great depth of field. |

Excellent capture with good composition. Focus is crisp and lighting is good (despite the lack of strong sun). |

Nice action shot, very good exposure here. I wish he was more to the left hand corner, it would have been better composition I think although I do like the fact that there is some room for him to go into, I think there is almost too much... getting more of the back wave and less of the left side would have been nice, still a nice clear, simple, beautifully done shot... -9- |

Nice clear shot. Focus is spot on and I like that you can just about make out a bridge in the background.
I don't think you could ask anything more from a windsurfing shot. |

It appears to be a little dark for my taste, but still very good. Super sharp image. Just need to use Levels or Curves on it I think. |

The sharpness of the image is really what stands out. the fact that he's close enough to see his face, even though it is slightly shadowed, is good. Compositionally it is appealing, although shame the entire wave break/splash wasnt in the frame. An excellent image and wonderful capture of sport action. |

great pose and well framed. I would have liked to have seen greater tonal ranges though. the sky could be brighter. |
