| i gave this an 8. generally, i like it very much; it's immediately striking, bold, bright and colourful, and the car itself is rich in character, kitsch and cultural value. the only real criticism is that the angle is a bit too head-on for the unitiated to work out it's a bus, and the background is really bland and doesn't go well with the outlandish nature of the vehicle. there's also the lack of humans, which in this case is a bit sad because i always think of these things as a social type thing. but it's still a lovely shot, and so unashamably happy that it's infectious. so 8. |
