| I'm going through and leaving comments on photos I voted low on. This photo has some problems. First of all it appears to be over-sharpened which gives it a very harsh, artifical look. Composition wise there isn't really anything here that acts as the focal point of the shot. Cloud details are either neat-images beyond recognition or missing for some other reason, trees are backlit, the sun is barely visible, etc. Pretty colors are always nice but they can not make a photo interesting on their own. Here you've got blue and orange with very little transition between them, and the right side of the photo gets pretty heavy on the darkness with the trees and that big cloud. Good effort. |

| I think there was too much adjusting too this image..also there are a couple of black spots (on on right side in cloud & one near left side in blue sky)that kind of jump out. |

| Not quite sure what went wrong for you here. Oversharpening? Too much contrast? Bad compression? Such a shame though, it appears to have been a beautiful scene you captured there. |
