Images the size of a postage stamp dont' score well with me, and this one has the added disadvantage of not even attempting to meet the 'from the ground up' persective as challenged (unless bees have taken to flying on their sides). All of which is a shame because I think this is probably a beautiful photo. The colors work extremely well, it appears to be in perfect focus, the composition is excellent, and you captured the bee at the perfect moment. Really I would like to kick you for making me vote low on such a nice photo. Good effort.

looks like it could have been a nice photo but it is way too small to see detail and it doesn't seem to meet the challenge either.

too small to see the details

Nice photo but the blur under the bee is distracting. It is difficult to see a "From the Ground Up" relationship.

Is there any detail in the bee? In the flowers? How can you even tell when the picture is so small? You may have made the minimum, but you should strive for the maximum that will fit on a screen - and for a horizontal shot, that means 640 pixels.

Too small
08/14/2006 02:34:51 AM
I don't see how this meets the challenge.

Why so small?
08/12/2006 08:20:56 PM
Wish this were larger to show more detail.

Pity this isn't larger. Very nice pic (I think ;-)

I can't tell if it is good. It is too small.

It's pretty, just not sure it fits in this category.
