Way underrated, IMO. I love doing these types of shots, and this one is really well executed. I guess the challenge description hurt you a little though. |

A different take on the challenge, the sepia works well to set the reverent tone. |

very interesting take on the challenge, that you would capture a subject that has stopped itself, rather than using the camera to stop a moving subject. i like the image, and admire your initiative; it will be interesting to see how you are rewarded. it's just a shame your subject is looking out of the frame... |

The standing guy in the front really makes the picture. |

i'm not sure stopped motion is defined by taking a photograph of something not moving... ignoring the challenge implications, it is a nice picture overall, though the sepia tones do seem a bit light and flat to me... it's also a pity that we don't really see what the guy is looking at; oh we get a sense of some massive cathedral type place, but it seems like he's looking at stuff more interesting than what's in the frame (which is predominantly filled by the middle massive column, which due to it's lightness in shade over powers a bit)... 6. |

This is a nice enough photo on its own, well composed and dramatic. But I don't really see it stopping motion. |

Uh-oh. I think the people moving in the background are going to get you on this one. Most likely, looking at your title, you are considering the man holding the bag the primary subject and he has "stopped" to look at the 'Breathtaking Architecture'. Not sure that enough voters will slow down long enough to see that. Other than that, this image is well put together. Very good exposure for the lighting, well focused, etc... |
