For those of you wondering. This is a real cat, He is a 7 year old persian named Pugzy. He was in the process of jumping. I had several of him in the air but because of his long fur I could not convince anyone that there was no motion blur so I stuck with this one. I am glad he provided a laugh to some of you, I crack up watching him all the time. He is a goofy cat.

It is with deep sadness that I have to add to this caption, Pugzy the cat has passed on, He had cancer and today we had to have him put to sleep. No one could ever convince me that this was not the coolest cat in the world. June 26th 2008 RIP my little buddy.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the death of Pugzy--you must be missing him still. Only people who don't have a cat in the family would fail to see the stopped motion in this. It's priceless!

No, he is not stuffed. this is a real cat. He lives breaths walks purrs and sometimes meows like a cow in the middle of the night which could end up getting him stuffed one day.

This shot made me giggle :-) I wish I could get my cats to pose like this! You've got good detail and a great pose, but I find the background to be a little distracting.

That's a very cute photo of a cat. ;^) Good color, clarity and composition overall. Hard to tell on the stopped motion because this is such an unusual stance/action for a cat to take...does a cat on it's back legs usually move very fast, or was this an easy image to get? Do you know what I'm trying to say? The top images for this challenge will probably have some action that is easily identifiable as being fast/quick. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

6 - Good (and funny) image, seemingly good potential. For advanced editing, perhaps trying to desaturate/something the background/sofa/carpet, especially the cushions - it all detracts too much from the 'boxer'. Depending what you had to work with, perhaps a variation in composition as well, may have made this even better in my opinion.

omg is this real? or is it stuffed? thats kinda freaky lookin, i cant even tell if its a cat or a dog LOL. I dont think i would want that thing in my house. but anyway nice take on the challenge though!
