Quite literally taken with the bathroom light left on. I gave up trying to hold still while laying on the floor, and resorted to putting the camera on the floor in the hands of the almighty self-timer. Very little post processing, just upped the brightness a bit and ran a sharpening filter over the image. The colors are as is.

8 - Really like this. Excellent sharp angle/perspective. Toning works very well. Undecided if more detail discernable (sharper focus, as seems to be on the door fixture) in the metal(?) texture on the doorknob/handle may have given this a little extra - but may have changed the 'abstractness', so who knows.

wonderfully disorienting, and the light coming through the door is so pretty. 9

Just my opinion but there seems to be too much glare coming through the doorway just above the door knob. Interesting idea though.

Just goes to show that any subject can become artistic if its well visualized by the artist. This image breaks "rules" and has a common everyday subject, but you have presented a very cool image that I find quite pleasant to look at. Good work, good luck!

Simple, nice warm glow, DOF is perfect. I hope this glimpse of the "ordinary" does well for you.
