Cute picture. You've stopped the water spray pretty well. The boy could be a little sharper (just a tad). I like the line the grate forms thru your image...that's cool. Good luck to you in the challenge. |

wow--that water spray almost looks like a drill bit ;-) a couple tips: this could have been a bit more dynamic had the camera been on the ground, shooting up into his face. also, his face being a bit dark, you could have chosen to use some fill flash to bring out some detail, or the shadow/highlight filter in ps. |

Nice image, good focus on the water jet and the picture tells a nice story. The water is lost a bit in the background at the top which is a shame but unavoidable. Not sure I'm a fan of the beveled border. |

this is a cute candid shot, that has character. i especially like the high contrast and colours of the lad with a paler slightly washed out shades of the surroundings. i feel the composition is a bit off though, feeling neither centred or set to one side a la rule of thirds. regards to the challenge, i feel that the stopped motion is a bit inconsequential (it would look very similar and just as good on a slightly longer exposure), but it does still fit. but overall this is an immediately likeable shot, and a good example of a city life candid shot. 7. |

"Great Job" from the "Great Job Baggie"! Hard to judge fairly when the subject looks like a relative. Of course I want to score this highly! But aside from that, I'll be fair. Any child shot is adorable in my eyes. What makes this one special is the curiosity that this child expresses. Good job capturing that! I gave you an 8. |

the model makes your shot by blocking water from the spout. well, that and the composition. 8 |

that's very good, my only suggestion to you would have been to adjust the shot to get a true vertical line with that water whcih could be easily done in any editing programme... |
