One of my tens this challenge... I hate this didn't score higher. nice work :)
I think your title led people away from your 'idea' with this photo. I would have never come to your idea without reading your post here. |

My shot was representing, to me, that the militaristic voice of freedom should be restrained. I was not condoning freedom at the cost of human life. I am not at all in favor of war as a solution to the difficulties life presents, surely IMO there are more civilized ways to solve problems. Thanks to those of you who commented, sorry for the confusion, though I am glad my shot made folks think some : ).

BTW it was NOT shot in sepia, this is straight out of camera with slight crop. Was a rainy day and this was the colors camera picked up.

looks like the 9 o'clock gun. :) I like this perspective, it reminds of me what the view must be like when embroiled in a battle. |

The part of the cage closest to the camera is VERY distractiong to the overall effect. Love the use of the sepia here. |

I find the message (or at least the one I envision I see) to be kinda interesting. Here we have a picture representing freedom and it's in a cage! Of course the 'voice' also seems to be a weapon, which I also find curious. This photograph makes some quite bold statements. That said, I do like the sepia tones, and although it may lack any 'wow' factor, I think the message is what stands out from this photograph rather than being visually 'pretty'. |

This photo could be interpreted in different ways. One could be that the voice of freedom is caged up and silenced. Very effective photo that can make one think. |

I find it sad that a gun is your voice of freedom, no offence, but are you by chance american? A nice picture nonetheless. |

Okay, um, interesting image. A little militaristic. I hate to think that the voice of freedom is "move aside or I'll kill you" or "don't even attempt to bring your problems to my shore". Still it's creative. |
