I love this photo. In addition to the things that others have been saying, I think it illustrates that the stereotypical notion of muscle-bound Rambos is nonsense and that freedom requires a contribution from everyone.

One of the things I love about this shot is the contrast of his young face and his old hands. His hands look like those of a warrior while if you just look at his face you expect him to be in a school baseball uniform more than fatigues.

This photo not only tells a wonderful story, it is a nice composition. I love how his hand is covering hers.

very nice shot - you captured the emotion VERY well. The dof is nice too. I can't tell if you used G. blur or not - but either way its very cool. nice work.

This is a nice captured scene. I think the contrasts could be enhanced to help the photo.

The muted colors give this touching scene an add impact. The focusing give a great depth of field. The couple really pop out of the picture.

I really like this shot, something about it keeps drawing me back. The young soldier returning to that which he fights to protect. Very nice depection of freedom. I find the uniform and civillian clothes to make a nice contrast as well.

Great photo, brings home the reality of those who are fighting to bring us freedom and what their loved ones must go through in parting with them in order to bring us this freedom.

They are just babies. What a wonderful capture. His dirty hands really make it look like he just came back from battle. Excellent in every way. The expressions on their faces is priceless.

Says a lot. First thought: Priceless! I bet they would like a print. Did they get one? Best of luck

This photo has emotion. I wish I knew one of these people so I could justify hanging it on my wall. Nice job.

Great emotion in this shot. Love the soft look which goes well with the subject. The girl's face says it all. Well done. 10

Great capture - colors look a little weak, but that may be the intention. Great expression on the young woman's face. Nice.
