Very nice. One of the better set up shots. Great clarity and the colors work well. Maybe a bit big of a border but it wont affect my score. Bumpin gup to an 8 for now.

if this doesn't ribbon, i will stir fry my cat. mind blowingly beautiful image. everything is perfect; particular highlights is the stepped presentation of hands, the lovely complementary background, the lighting, even the border warrants a mention in terms of how well it fits. so creative. even the title is poetic, and surprisingly unpretentious! 10. 15 if i could.

Beautifully lit and presented. However, for me, this is more of a visual presentation of items associated with Japanese culture than an image that actually conveys serenity, simplicity etc. That's just my perception of it. Still a great image though.
