 What i have tried is to show that the lens can convert the bits to letters making them legible to an ordinary person.

Took a lens , a sheet of paper with the bit pattern and another paper with the text written on it

Placed the paper containing text below the lens such that the edges of that paper are not visible , making it seem that the text being read is from the paper containing the bit pattern.

Crop,sharpen,hue/saturation,levels

Fun idea. At first glance, I thought you added the words in the lens in Photoshop, but I like that you actually set it up in the original image.

Very creative. I had assumed you had pasted the text on to the lens itself, but having read your notes, I see it took more planning than that.

It's a great idea. The angle on the glass and the angle of the letters seem to be at odds with each other. It has the feel that something is off. Still interesting.

Here I like the concept of the pic. Great idea well executed, except for the broken lens. If not broken this pic will deserve a 8, but this way I have to subtract 1 vote. So I give you a Seven.

Nice idea. Personally, while I see your intent, I don't think this meets the challenge very well. Writing down a bunch of binary number sequences doesn't constitue bits or pieces. I'll set that aside. The photo itself - the way the paper is rolling up on the upper left side is very distracting. Also the paper itself is on an angle. Would work better if the text was perfectly horizontal. The smudge within the magnifying glass is a distraction. Also might have played with your white balance here, the whole shot has a greenish cast to it which doesn't come across to well. Might have tipped the glass back a bit too to better create the illusion that it is actually magnifying/decoding the paper beneath it. Overall, nice idea. 5.
