I like the stillness of the water and the detail you have managed to capture but the composition feels a little dull to me (MHO) |

it's really nice...perhaps if you crouched down a bit and captured a lower perspective it would have really added more impact...love that brooding sky |

I think this is a very nice shot, however, to my eye, although the water is calm and still, there is too much going on here that distracts my eye from the calm parts. The rocks are craggy, teh small dirt mound in the middle distracts, as does the grass to the left side of the photo. A nice photo, but just not quite there. |

This is a lovely scene. Have you tried b/w? It stands to really shout in duotone. Nice work. |
