 A small selection of my 20-some bit collection. As a horse trainer, once I saw the phrase 'bits and pieces' I knew exactly what I wanted to get in the shot. Most of my bits are stainless and thus would have too much glare, so I chose these particular bits for the finish on the mouthpieces - the Pelham is nickel, the loosering is a sweetmetal alloy and the racing D is copper. My chaps form most of the background and my gloves are visible to th right.

Post-shoot tinkering: hue/saturation, lightness, contrast/brightness. C'est ca!

Either slightly out of focus or could have used the unsharpen tool during reduction for web. Or perhaps you intended the softer look?

yah for horse people! except I have a similar Image and I guess people don't realize what the bit's are (I forgot to think about that!)

While I like th hint of blue across the metal, I struggle to focus on any one thing. A bit blurry.
