I agree with you 100%. In addition to numerous sporting events where I was accredited, I shot US Open tennis professionaly from 2000 to 2002. It is certainly exciting, technically challenging and labor-intensive, but has nothing to do with art.

I'm livid that people didn't "get " this. IT is outstanding and has enough movement to fit the callenge. I gave it a 10. Think it's fabulous. |

perhaps i am rating other pictures too high. no one can convince me that this is a mediocre picture. |

I like the picture but I'm not sure how this applies to "action shot". Nice placement, cute model, nice use of graineness (is that a word?). |

This is one of my favourites for the challenge, I love the symmetry of action on both sides and stillness in the middle. My only complaint is that its not quite the full 640 pixels, an extra 10% size would make this a bit easier to view and would be a 10 from me, but for now it̢۪s a 9 |

a little motion blur, yes, but action? if you say so... |

Good tones on the model in the center. I like the composition too. |

This is a very neat photo but I dont see how you relate it to action. I'm not sure if this was staged or if you were just waiting for the right moment but the only suggestion I would make is to have the two doors open the same amount. The left door for instance is a little distracting with the over exposed portion. |
