 For this shot, I taped a black thread to each of the dice. I then cut a small hole in the bottom of a plastic white cup. Then I strung the thread through the hole. The camera's shutter speed was set for 8 seconds. When the shutter opened, I slowly pulled the threads until the dice went into the cup.
