Well, I will ignore the crowd who says "white isn't a color" (but you know there were a few...9 1s?, 13 2s? that's hard to overcome)

The picture is well done on its own merits. Composition is excellent. The crop is wonderful. Off centered, full body, simple background, but small "props" to help provide context (the bag and stool).

The white shirt looks like it's a little too close to blowing for my comfort. That's my biggest criticism. What killed you was the DNMC crowd. I didn't vote this picture, but even I would have been looking for a little more "color on color". Don't take the low score in this case as meaning the picture is poor. It is excellent.

I thought you deserved much better on this one. I think it's fairly obvious why you entered it for 'color on color'. I really think it's a shame it didn't get more credit.

You would have been better off entering this for the black and white challenge. I see very little color. And the bag in the left corner distracting.

one of my favorites this challenge -- creative (would have worked for B&W as well) layout of all elements and your expressive model

Man, aged & homeless! That touches a chord deep in the heart...there seems to be a great deal of despair in that face. You have captured a powerful photo!!!! I surely hope everything works out alright for this valued lady.

Facial detail is very good. Doesn't exactly fit my idea of what color on color meant, though.
