 One of many elk at Pioneer\'s park nature center. The image was cropped, I used my on-camera flash to create a light in its eyes, but it was too close, so I had to spot edit the eyes to remove the substantial glare. I adjusted the contrast and tweaked the gamma setting a little to remove some haziness. There were two fence posts in the background that I cloned out to make it look more natural. I also applied a warming filter, to make the scrub a little more yellow.

Very nice natural color choice. Works well for the challenge. Compositionally, the image is going to take a hit for having the subject so centered. What's up with the ear tags? Is this from a animal park or something...not that it matters, just curious. Good luck in the challenge.
