hmm, it's hard to see what the background really is..
And if you hadn't told me that was a spider, It would've taken me a few minutes to realize that's what it was.
Maybe it's just me and I'm slow?
Other than that, I actually do like the 'black/dark' background :) |

| More contrast & brightness would help me know if the title claim was true or not. However, it is a rather striking image of its own merit. |

| Little too dark. Can only see a little green on the spider and mostly black in the background. |

| this might work if the spider only looked more green, but the bright lighting makes him/her look more silver than green |
