 Shot in a beautiful dappled light coming into my daughter's bedroom window. I would have liked the gold egg to be more golden, but the paint I bought at the last second when I got the idea didn't come through for me.

Basically levels, curves, egg layer to adjust the saturation and colour. USM, frame, resize, Neat Image, Noise Ninja, USM and upload.

I am a titles guy and I like the title for this. It conveys the golden egg contains the golden child out of this bunch, just in case you didn't get it... :-)

I am happy with the shot and hope it gets over 6.

I thought this as a concept was great .. I gave it a seven ... there are minor issues around the other colours being slightly overpowering, the gold egg being centred etc ... so I minused out for those :)

I like the nest idea. The gold egg might have looked a little more gold if the others had been white.

The problem with this photo is that you put all you eggs in one basket and you apparently should never do that. Excellent choice in DoF and blurr. By far this has to be one of the nicest in the challenge. Excellent colors and clarity and the sharpness is surpasssed by none in this challenge. Well done and good luck in this challenge. <9>
